CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Coral Springs Community Chest, founded in 1988 to use community resources to meet community needs, recently awarded more than $75,000 in grants to non-profit organizations that have a service or program benefiting Coral Springs residents. Because there is no paid staff, 98 percent of the nonprofit’s money is reinvested back to community. CSCC is funded by corporate and private donations, special events and promotions.
