Tickets are $175 per person and $1,500 for a table of 10, with sponsorships also offered. For details call 305-751-8648 or visit m-dcc.org

With the theme, 7 Degrees of Empowerment, chamber officials say they will identify seven tools used by Miami-Dade organizations to succeed.

The star-studded gala lineup includes host, actor, business executive and Miami-Dade Chamber member Boris Kodjoe. Co-hosting is WTVJ-NBC6 anchor Sharon Lawson. Entertainment includes legendary hip-hop deejay Rob Base.

The organization will continue its tradition of recognizing local figures who have made a significant impact on the South Florida community, with three illustrious leaders awarded the chamber’s highest honors during the event.

“From business advocacy to trade promotion, networking opportunities, empowerment forums and so much more, the Miami-Dade chamber unlocks our market’s potential, empowering every business to prosper,” said Bill Diggs, chamber president and CEO.

“Our gala clearly is set to be the highlight event of the season – not just because it will be a fun night in downtown Miami, but also because we’ll showcase the great work we did all year to bring dollars to South Florida business owners.”

“When I saw what Bill was doing with the Chamber, it was a no-brainer to lend my support to his efforts,” said Kodjoe.  “My new line targets an international audience, and the Miami-Dade Chamber’s expansive reach goes far beyond these shores as they partner with businesses from Malaysia to the Caribbean. I’m just excited to see all the great things this partnership will produce.”
