Miami dominated their first contest, 110-95 in Dallas Dec. 20, before Dirk Nowitzki returned for the Mavericks, as LeBron James delivered 24 points and nine rebounds, and Dwyane Wade added 19 points. Guard O.J. Mayo shot 3 of 14 for Dallas.

Last night’s game started a three-game homestand to be followed by a six-game road trip for the Heat, who squeaked past the Orlando Magic 112-110 in overtime Monday. LeBron James had 36 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds, and Chris Bosh scored 22 points.
