With the theme, “It’s Not Too Late To Graduate,” the program aims to assist individuals of all ages in meeting the requirements needed to receive their diplomas.

The outreach effort is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 2, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the McFatter Technical Center, 6500 Nova Dr., Davie.

The Re-Engagement Fair is free and open to the public, and will include refreshments, door prizes and several iPod giveaways. For additional information, contact Shirley Baker, graduation coach, Student Services, 754-321-2461.

Officials in the Broward County Public Schools’ Student Services Department say the fair will provide participants with valuable information about education options and training opportunities that meet and fit their specific needs.
T

he assistance, counseling and placement will focus on attaining the high school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma) needed to connect individuals with post-secondary and career opportunities.
A

ttendees will be able to explore a variety of alternative and non-traditional education programs, including flexible schedules and online courses.  Program staff and guidance counselors will be on hand to work with participants in making appropriate choices.
