Why does Crist pick this guy for every vacancy in Broward County? This is just a political race card for Crist to try to gain black votes. Al Jones should be ashamed of himself. Each time the oppportuinity comes up he runs and applies for it. Does he have any loyalty to the office that he runs for? Crist should really try to get in touch with the community. There are plenty of great candidates in that district why not cross party lines if you cannot find a good republican candidate. This is the same partisan mess that keeps this country in turmoil and keeps politicians from doing the peoples business.

This is the best Crist do do? Look at what he has done to Dania Beach. Boarded up downtown, businesses leaving in droves, prositutes working Federal Highway within blocks of Jones' residence, and constant bickering between the city and the county. Can't wait to see how he does in a bigger playpen.

I wish and pray that Mr. Jones does a great job, he has work in government for decades, and brings a lot to the table. Don't let the hater's get to you, you will do a great job!

A good selection, but why remove a republican who is already in office, instead of picking a new one. That would have added another republican in county that's full of democrats. Crist is no rocket scientist, and this proves it. Crist is melting ice cream who can't seem to get anything right lately. Bring on Rubio!
