MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Now in its third year, the Miami Gardens Wine and Food Experience will return November 11 with a wider diversity of participating restaurants, new features and a premium experience.

Inspired and presented by the City of Miami Gardens and Councilwoman Lisa C. Davis in collaboration with Calder Casino, this year’s foodie experience expands to highlight some of the most unique offerings in food and beverage throughout South Florida.

Returning this year are the featured celebrity chefs, the Sweet Freaks dessert competition, a cook-off competition and an all-inclusive experience of wine tastings, food samplings and live music.

Guests can also expect new additions like a Cigar and Whiskey Bar, an Urban Beer Garden, and an optional private dining experience with the featured celebrity chef.

“We’ve had a successful launch with the Miami Gardens Wine and Food Experience in the inaugural year and with the return last year, and this year’s experience will really set the bar for what my vision has been all along,” Davis said. “When I created the Wine and Food Experience, it was part of a vision to enhance our city’s profile as a foodie destination and to complement the cultural hub that we are becoming known for. I am excited to see this vision come to fruition and I thank the community for embracing the concept.”

This year’s food selection will be more inclusive to reflect South Florida’s diversity and include flavors from various cultures, vegan cuisine and chefs from premier restaurants.

The growing number of local breweries has also inspired this year’s Urban Beer Garden, a new experience that will feature a number of local craft beers.

Ultimately, attendees can expect to enjoy wines from around the world paired with delicious local food and the opportunity to experience cuisine from popular chefs and wine makers.

General admission tickets will go on sale for $85 with VIP tickets at $125 to include the private dining experience with the celebrity chef.

The entire Experience will be hosted on Saturday, November 11 from 6 p.m. to midnight at Calder Casino, 21001 NW 27 Ave in Miami Gardens.
