WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The City of West Palm Beach Department of Parks and Recreation will be hosting a Summer Skate Camp for youth ages 6-15 at Phipps Skate Park, 4715 S. Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach.

Aspiring skaters can learn all the important techniques with qualified skateboard instructors and acquire new skills or improve old ones.

Skaters will be assessed on the first day and grouped by ability level. Participants must bring a skateboard, helmet, water and a snack daily.

Camp will be held Monday through Friday, June 12 – August 4 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. The cost is $50 per week for residents and $60 per week for non-residents.

An additional fee of $10 will be charged for supervision from 12-1 p.m. Proof of residency is required at the time of registration.
