Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall, School Board Member for District 2, has been elected Vice Chair of the Miami-Dade County School Board at the annual Organizational Meeting held yesterday. This appointment makes her the first African-American woman in Miami-Dade County Public Schools to be chosen for the position.
