ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) – A group of Florida clergy is urging African-American and Latino voters to vote early by participating in statewide “Souls to the Polls” events.

Faith in Florida leaders is holding a gospel concert and rally Sunday at Hungerford Academy in Eatonville. Additional activities are scheduled in Tallahassee, Cutler Bay, Belle Glades, Lauderhill, and Daytona Beach.

The group will also be promoting its campaign to restore rights of formerly incarcerated people, a ban which it says affects more than 1.5 million Floridians. Faith in Florida recently held similar campaigns to support driver’s licences for undocumented workers.
