Staff Report

Talent comes in many forms and renowned gospel artist Sherry Moses has been blessed with a double dose of it. Moses is an ambassador for the Kingdom of God, serving as both a ministry leader and recording artist. Minister Moses will soon release her debut EP, Standing On Victory, and is on a mission to spread the good news.

“I am so excited to release my debut EP, Standing On Victory,” said Moses. “It is a special project that is near and dear to my heart. I am eager for people to hear my music and I know it will provide much comfort in the midst of challenges, as much as it has comforted me.”

Moses’ new project was produced by Dinavon Bythwood and includes writing contributions from many talented people including Tami Latrell, Clarence Coffee and Marcus Lomax (The Strangerz), Roquios Clarke, Dinavon Bythwood, Rev. Trini Massie, and Moses. The inspiration for the project comes from her life journey, as well as those of family and friends.  Through all of the challenges, storms, tragedies, and triumphs that she has faced, Moses maintains that God has been her constant rock through it all.  This message comes loud and clear through her music, which is inspiring, soul-stirring and comforting.

Moses’ debut single from the project, “Standing On Victory,” is an anthem for anyone who has had something in life happen to them that made them feel like giving up. The lyrics speak of life after tragedy; that God will always provide the strength, peace and grace needed to reclaim your life and stand on victory.

A native of Jacksonville, Moses is a graduate of Florida Memorial University. An anointed woman of many talents, she is a licensed minister who wants to share her gift of music with the world – leading people into the presence of God.

Currently, Moses serves as worship leader of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Miami Gardens, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Arthur Jackson III.
