“In our fourth year,” said Andrea JohnBaptiste, of Save the Twinz: Live PINK, “I am happy to see our mission is on track bringing all forms of arts and entertainment together to deliver our message and educate the communities we serve.”

Save the Twinz”: Live PINK! has partnered with SunLife OBGYN Services and POM MRI to provide wellness screenings for breast, ovarian and uterine cancer to a select group of women. Officials said all proceeds raised at the Save the Twinz events will be donated to pay for much-needed care for those women who fall through the cracks – who fit neither the age and insurance restrictions nor have the money to pay for the procedures.

The committee also will present the “Save the Twinz” Champion Award to U.S. Congressman Alcee Hastings, Rose Poole of Relay for Life – City of Fort Lauderdale and Tarra Murray of Holy Cross Hospital, for their service of excellence in the fight against breast cancer.

In just three years, officials said, Save the Twinz: Live PINK! has raised more than $50,000 for a cure for cancer and to ensure that women who are uninsured have access to medical interventions, officials said.
