Fatherhood Discussion Group: After the maddening rush and euphoria of Christmas have faded, and before the all-night New Year's Eve bash, many people take the ensuing lull in festivities to reflect upon various topics – from life in general, to love, to careers, etc. Well, Dr. Percy Ricketts, LMHC, NCC wants us to also reflect upon fatherhood. His Fatherhood Discussion Group will consider a wide range of issues pertaining to fatherhood from the effect of absent fathers to the barriers of fatherhood involvement, and finally how to overcome those same barriers. The discussion will take place at 10031 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, in the second-floor conference room. Spacing is limited, so pre-registration and a $20 admission fee is required. For more information, please call 954-438-5661.
