Free Fridays at the Wolfsonian-FIU: If you desire to expose you or your children to different cultures, new time periods or exotic locales, but cringe at museums' full admission prices, then visit The Wolfsonian-FIU Museum for their free Friday tours at 6 p.m. The Wolfsonian-FIU, 1001 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, features exhibits such as "Thoughts on Democracy", a collection of posters created by today's leading contemporary artists, "The New Deal in America," reconsiders the impact of President Franklin D. South Florida International Auto Show: Thank goodness, it's not too late! The 38th Annual South Florida International Auto Show returned last week, but fortunately it remains open until Sunday, Nov. 16. So check out the latest models of your favorite cars, sports utilities vehicles, and even the latest concept cars. Also, don't forget to peek, but don't touch, this year's Motorcycle Display and the vehicles on Million Dollar Alley. The auto show is being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center at 1901 Convention Center Drive and the center is open 2 to 11 p.m. on Friday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Caribefest-Community Showcase: Caribefest Inc., and the city of Miramar sponsor their annual Caribefest-Community Showcase. This year's headlining acts include Gregory Isaacs, Soaria, T-Vice, and rapper Negro Baby. The free showcase will be held on Saturday, from 3 p.m. 11 p.m. Sunday's festivities feature a Jazz Gala to celebrate Caribbean jazz with artists such as Sonny Bradshaw, Myrna Hague, and Reginald Policard. Jazz Gala ticket prices range from $30 to $50. The showcase will be held at the new Miramar Town Center Plaza and Cultural Arts Center, 2300 Civic Center Place. New Hope World Outreach Fashion Show: New Hope World Outreach, a Broward County nonprofit agency that provides educational, youth development and social services programs, hosts their first fashion show with the theme of “A Night to Remember.’’ The fashion show will be held at 540 N.E. 8th Street and begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $10 and proceeds are to benefit single homeless mothers and their children. Foreclosure Prevention Clinic: Even in these difficult economic times, knowledge is still power, so several local organizations including the War on Poverty-Florida, Inc., Neighborhood Housing Services, The Urban Task Force, the Collective Banking Group and Miami Gardens Councilman Andre Williams are sponsoring a Foreclosure Prevention Clinic to help those experiencing foreclosure find solutions to keep their homes. A Raisin in the Sun: The Conundrum Stages Playreading Series presents presents a reading performance of Lorraine Hansberry’s classic A Raisin in the Sun, featuring Will Barnes, Yvone Christiana, Crystal, John Fell, Devounte Hohing, Kevin Johnson, Dorothy J. Morrison, Gary Simpson, Me`lissa Smith, and Keith C. Wade. The performance, which will take place with scripts in hand, is directed by Rachel Finley. It will take place Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. at the Broward County Library, Northwest Branch, 1580 NW 3 Avenue, Pompano Beach. Admission is free.

By His Word Theatre & Co: Eat, drink, be entertained and do charity work all at the same time by going to see the theatre production 'Make It Rain' and "A Night at the Comedy Club," presented by By His Word Theatre & Co. The show starts at 5 p.m. at the Café Tobago, 4801 S. University Dr. No. 123, Davie (South of Griffin Rd. in The Atrium Center). Admission is $30 per person; the price also includes a meal.
