Around the World in 80 Days – The African Experience: Cinema Paradiso, 503 SE Sixth St., Fort Lauderdale, continues its popular, free film series, Around the World in 80 Days, and dedicates three days to the African experience. March 12’s film is the 8 p.m. screening of Skin, which tells of the 30-year journey for social and self acceptance of a South African woman who was raised as a white woman until the government reclassified her as black; and the 10 p.m. screening of Africa Unite, a 50-minute Bob Marley tribute concert film. Bring your chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to the City of Lauderhill’s free, Jazz Picnic in the Park event.
