MIAMI BEACH — Clad in a skin-tight metallic silver mini dress, fashionista and three-time Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum recording artist Fergie sashayed through the paparazzi and many of her fans March 27 to celebrate her 34th birthday.
Fergie and the fashion elite brought out the bright lights and sensational sights to celebrate her birthday at the four-day glamour affair known as Rock Fashion Week. The event featured an exclusive look into the world of progressive, established and emerging designers and their collections.
Hosted at the most sought-out venue in Miami, celebrities such as Russell Simmons, Fergie herself,
Caroline D’Amore and many others jam-packed the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Resorts to celebrate the fusion of the celebrity, fashion and music worlds.
“Rock Fashion Week is an innovative platform for creative and world-renowned designers to showcase their collections…,’’ said Scott Rosenblum, founder of Rock Media & Entertainment, the event’s promoter. “The event is sure to set new heights for talent, runway shows, exotic layouts, after-parties and more!”
After parties indeed!
Hundreds of people filled the Fontainebleau and its indoor nightclub, LIV, to get a quick glimpse at
Fergie for her special birthday after-party celebration. Dennis Rodman, who is one of the contestants on the new season of “Celebrity Apprentice,’’ was also spotted walking the red carpet.
Fergie, along with other members of longtime Hip-Hop group Black Eyed Peas, were also in town promoting their new fifth studio album, The E.N.D (Energy Never Dies).
Fergie and the rest of the group had much to celebrate as their new single “Boom Boom Pow,” continues to sky rocket on the radio airwaves.
Joining the celebration were several celebrity friends and family members, including Fergie’s new husband, actor Josh Duhamel and fellow members of the Black Eyed Peas, along with “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria, “Baywatch” TV star Pamela Anderson, and Designer Richie Rich.
Just like the flashing lights in the club, the festivities went on all night.
