MIAMI — The Office Cake is baking Breast Cancer awareness cakes the entire month of October to honor cancer survivors and to help the women who are currently fighting cancer.
The Miami cake delivery bakery also will bake and decorate “dedication” cakes that be ordered by a family member, friend, or individual to send a supporting message to someone who is fighting cancer or a breast cancer survivor.
The company said the cakes are baked fresh daily, can be delivered or picked up, and that for every cake purchased, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Support Community of Greater Miami.
Ordering can be done online or over the phone.
“This is a cause that is close to my heart, having seen how it is responsible for taking so many people away from their loved ones,” said Paz Claro, owner.
“I feel that our family business is in a unique position of being able to spread a little joy to some of those living with cancer every day.
“If, at the same time, we could also contribute funds to help eradicate it once and for all, well then that is just ‘the icing on the cake’.”
