shari_francis_web.jpgBOCA RATON — Office Depot Inc. has announced that Shari Francis, Supply Chain Diversity manager for Office Depot, has been named one of the “2012 Top 25 Women in Power Impacting Diversity” by DiversityPlus Magazine.

Francis was recognized by an independent editorial team for demonstrating excellence and achievement in a leadership position in supplier diversity.

Francis ensures the inclusion of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) in Office Depot’s product assortment, while executing the Supply Chain Diversity communication strategy. She also spearheads Office Depot’s annual HUB catalog, the industry’s first catalog dedicated to certified diverse business products.

Francis has previously been honored as a Champion of Diversity by DiversityPlus Magazine and as one of Women’s Enterprise’s Top 100 Women Impacting Supplier Diversity. She serves on the Board of Directors and is Vice Chair of the Finance Committee for the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
