FORT LAUDERDALE — Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurants received recognition from Broward County Mayor Barbara Sharief at the “Broward Means Business” initiative last week. Golden Krust has seven restaurants located in Broward County.
Keith Clayborne is the largest franchisee of Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant franchises in the U. S. with a total of eight restaurants grossing over $10 million annually and employing more than 100 people, according to a statement released by the mayor’s office.
Clayborne received a proclamation from the Broward County Commission designating Tuesday, Jan. 14 as “Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurants Appreciation Day” in Broward County.
“Broward Means Business,” given at 10 a.m. each Tuesday at the regularly scheduled Broward County Board of County Commissioners meeting, recognizes local businesses for their contribution to economic development and the community and the goods and services they provide locally and worldwide.
