Made up of the finest singers and musicians from various churches in Harlem, N.Y., the choir has performed songs of inspiration that touch the depths of the soul and raise spirits to angelic heights for the past 26 years.

The choir has performed with John Legend, U2, Diana Ross and Harry Belafonte in its mission to make the world a more peaceful place and to promote a better understanding of the African-American culture and gospel music as it relates to the Black Church.

The group has performed on Good Morning America and The Late Show with David Letterman, and has entertained President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sir Elton John, Pope John Paul II and Lyle Lovett, among others.

The Jerusalem Post said, “While it’s unclear whether hearing the choir’s fervently rendered versions of everything from traditional hymns to U2 songs to standards like Oh Happy Day will convince anyone to change their belief systems, it has been known to convert listeners into lifelong gospel music fans.”

Individual tickets are $35, $40 and $45 with a two-show subscription package offering a savings of 10 percent and the four-show subscription offering a 15 percent savings.

The Miramar Cultural Center ArtsPark is located at 2400 Civic Center Place on Red Road, north of Miramar Parkway, in Miramar. Other shows in the Signature Series include Maxi Priest (March 30).
