DALLAS (AP) _ A prosecutor says indictments have been returned in a Dallas police excessive force investigation involving the videotaped chase and beating of a motorcyclist.
Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins scheduled a news conference for Thursday afternoon. A statement from Watkins did not indicate who has been indicted over the Sept. 5 incident.
Patrol car dashboard camera video, released by Chief David Brown, showed white officers hitting a black suspect.
Brown fired three officers following the incident, plus he has asked the FBI to launch a civil rights investigation.
