leadership_broward_web.jpgFORT LAUDERDALE — The Leadership Broward Foundation is accepting applications from Broward County nonprofit organizations to participate in its community project initiative, which offers pro bono services as a graduation requirement for the Leadership Broward adult program class.

Applications, available at leadershipbroward.org, are due August 17.

The Leadership Broward Foundation Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is a premier leadership development training organization with a 30-year history of developing and inspiring individuals to serve the Broward County community.

The Leadership Broward adult program has graduated more than 2,500 leaders and has launched approximately 500 nonprofit community projects, which translate to 14,000 volunteer hours per year. 

Additional programs include Youth Leadership Broward, Senior Executive Orientation, Emerge Broward, Encore Leadership Broward and Follow the Leader in You. 

Standout community project legacies include Lighthouse of Broward’s Sensory Garden for the Visually Impaired, Broward Partnership for the Homeless’ Breaking Bread-Breaking Barriers program, Bark Park at Snyder Park, Broward Education Foundation’s Kids in Need Resource Center, Healthy Mothers-Healthy Babies, ArtServe and many more.
