palm_beach_mall_entrance_web.jpgWEST PALM BEACH — Contractors are invited to join New England Development, Eastern Real Estate, EMJ Construction and the City of West Palm to learn about contracting opportunities for the new Palm Beach Outlets Development project.

The Site Contractors Fair is set for Monday, July 9, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., at the Mary V. McDonald-Wilson Center at Gaines Park, 1501 N. Australian Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407.

The developers recently acquired the 80-acre former Palm Beach Mall property on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard at Interstate 95 in West Palm Beach.

The redeveloped Palm Beach Outlets, expected to open in 2013, is to include an open-air outlet center and adjacent shopping center featuring a national and retail tenants.

EMJ Construction is seeking qualified site contractors to bid on the upcoming civil packages of the Palm Beach Outlets. Contractors can drop off company resumes and marketing packages and sit for mini-Interviews.

All contractors are required to complete an EMJ Subcontractor Pre-Qualification Form for consideration.  The form can be completed online at pboutletmall.com

The site work trades needed include earthwork, landscaping & irrigation, brick pavers, utilities, concrete curb & sidewalk, asphalt paving, line striping, site electrical & lighting.

The event is for site contractors only; a building contractors fair and employee job fair are slated for August.
