MIAMI (AP) – The Miami Heat have released their preseason schedule which includes an NBA Finals rematch against San Antonio and two matchups with Brooklyn.
The Spurs visit Miami on Oct. 19, their first meeting since the Heat prevailed in a seven-game title series to close last season.
And the Nets, who expect to challenge Miami in the Eastern Conference, play host to the Heat on Oct. 17 and visit the reigning champions on Oct. 25 in the preseason finale.
Other Miami exhibition games include a home game with Atlanta (Oct. 7), at Detroit (Oct. 10), in Kansas City against Charlotte (Oct. 11), at Washington (Oct. 15) and at New Orleans (Oct. 23).
Miami will open the regular season at home on Oct. 29, when the Heat will raise their second straight championship banner.
