lee-tiffani_web.jpgMIAMI — Tiffani Lee, a partner  at Holland & Knight’s Miami office, has been appointed  by Chief U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno as a member of the Federal Magistrate Judge Merit Selection panel.

The 11-member panel is tasked with evaluating the appointment and re-appointment of magistrate judges for the Southern District of Florida. Members serve 180-day terms.

Lee practices in the area of business litigation.

In addition to her litigation practice, she serves as Holland & Knight’s diversity partner. 

Lee was the first African-American woman to serve as president of the Dade County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, and she currently serves on the Association’s board of directors.

She is recognized as a top lawyer by Florida Trend’s Legal Elite, South Florida Legal Guide and Super Lawyers. She is also a member of the boards of directors of Street Law Inc., Legal Services of Greater Miami Inc., the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and a trustee of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church.
