Jurors were off Friday after watching the videotaped confession of 23-year-old Eric Rivera Jr.

Prosecutors say Rivera's confession is solid proof of his guilt, but Rivera's attorney claims he was coerced by police into making false statements.

Rivera was among five people from the Fort Myers area that authorities say wanted to burglarize Taylor's home because they thought he kept large amounts of cash there. Taylor was home instead of playing a game with the Redskins that day because of an injury.

Rivera faces life in prison if convicted. Taylor was a Pro Bowl safety who also starred at the University of Miami.
