Learn how to start, fund and run a not-for-profit. Gain valuable insights into how you can meet not-for-profit legal requirements, increase your fund-raising ability, and improve your organization’s impact and overall operation. The workshop will be presented by Zachariah Evangelista, a business, corporate attorney at Ser & Associates. He focuses his practice on providing legal guidance to innovative companies and entrepreneurs at all stages of growth. Evangelista also dedicates a portion of his practice to assisting nonprofit organizations with their legal needs. Prior to becoming an attorney, Zachariah worked for the City of Miami in the Office of Cultural Arts and Entertainment where he managed contracts and procurement for the office. He presents workshops and webinars for SCORE and the FIU Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center on a variety of legal topics for start-ups and small businesses. This workshop fee is $40. It is scheduled for Thursday, June 9, at 6:00 P.M at the 2000 Ponce Business Center, 2000 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Suite 569, Coral Gables and is hosted by the Miami-Dade SCORE Chapter.
