FMU President Henry Lewis III, seated center, tapped as chair Georgie Labadie, seated to his left, a noted nursing practitioner, administrator and educator with experience in the health care and academic sectors. Lewis charged the group of industry and educational leaders, including Adriene Wright, FMU vice president for Institutional Advancement, seated to his right, to help FMU create “an historic and ambitious pipeline of nurses for the region and indeed, the nation.” The advisory board is one component of a comprehensive multiyear process to create an FMU School of Nursing.
