james_browder_web.jpgWEST PALM BEACH — The School Board of Palm Beach County has scheduled formal  and informal interviews and two “Meet and Greet” events for the three finalists for school superintendent: Janis Andrews, Constance Jones and Tom Watkins.

Fourth finalist James Browder announced Tuesday that he had accepted the top job for the Anchorage (Alaska) School District.

Board members will hold informal interviews, meeting individually with each of the candidates, Monday, Feb. 6  through Wednesday, Feb. 8 at district headquarters, 3300 Forest Hill Blvd.

The public can meet the finalists at two "Meet and Greet" sessions: 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6 at district headquarters, and 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7 in the Glades Central Community High School cafeteria, 1001 S.W. Avenue  M, Belle Glade.

Board members are scheduled to conduct formal interviews with the remaining candidates on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at district headquarters beginning at 12:30 p.m. For the schedule call Frieda Proctor, 561- 434-8953.

The board members are expected to select the new superintendent at their meeting slated for 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15.
