WEST PALM BEACH — The Rev. Al Sharpton, who has been in the forefront with the parents of Trayvon Martin in the fight for justice for their son, again will be out front as the West Palm Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. in partnership with the Delta Heritage Foundation host their “Men of Excellence Awards.”
Rev. Sharpton, who has been called “The most prominent civil rights activist in the country,” will be the keynote speaker on Saturday, June 9, for a program and dinner set for 6:30 p.m., at the Palm Beach Convention Center, 650 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach.
