GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) _ Grand Valley’s homeless will soon have some temporary housing that will be close to other support services designed to help people get back on their feet.

It is a project involving HomewardBound of the Grand Valley, Cardinal Capital Management Inc., and Hilltop Community Services.

The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports (http://tinyurl.com/ntprr8m ) the idea is to offer temporary shelter, counseling space for community partners, a commercial kitchen and child care space.

Pathways Village is a partnership with the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority and LeBeau Development, a Duluth, Minnesota-based firm that specializes in building projects for the homeless nationwide.
