Many people believe that Trayvon Martin was profiled, hunted and slain for being black and wearing a hoodie in the rain. It is an undisputable fact that 28-year-old George Zimmerman killed 17-year-old Trayvon by shooting him in the chest with a 9 millimeter handgun.
Robert Zimmerman the shooter’s father is a retired judge. Either George strayed far from parental teaching or never received proper moral and ethical, if not spiritual, guidance from his white Hispanic mother and white father.
Did George want to kill someone, someone black? Is that why he got a concealed weapon permit and carried the holstered handgun? Talk that may emerge as relevant fact has it that George was obsessed with wanting to be a cop. Did he hang out with close haircut-wearing white cops in redneck bars in and around Sanford?
A few weeks ago, I used this space to warn about the churning white nationalism engulfing America from the psychological perspective of Dr. Gordon W. Allport’s definitive book The Nature of Prejudice. Psychologist Allport tells us from 1954, when the Harvard scholar’s book was first published, exactly why “race” (there’s only one race and that’s the human race) is so pronounced in this the age of Barack Obama.
Allport cites five stages of prejudice, beginning with anti-locution which is where white adolescents are taught negative stereotypes of black people. Allport’s second stage of prejudice is avoidance, the third is discrimination, then there is physical attack and the fifth stage is genocide.
However, still deeper is black psychiatrist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing’s book The Isis (Yssis) Papers. Welsing asserts, “The ultimate purpose of the system (the white supremacy system/culture) is to prevent white genetic annihilation on Earth — a planet in which the overwhelming majority of people are classified as non-white (black, brown, red and yellow) by white-skinned people.”
Because of recessive traits such as “numerical inadequacy and genetic color inferiority” — whites, the only humans that lack melanin (responsible for all skin color, of which blacks have the most, then browns, etc.) — developed psychological defense mechanisms. A very important defense mechanism whites developed was “reaction formation,” Welsing writes, “a response that converts (at the psychological level) something desired and envied but wholly unattainable, into something discredited and despised.”
Welsing believes that white-skinned people are the “albino mutant offsprings of black-skinned mothers and fathers in Africa. A sizeable number of these black parents had produced, rejected and then cast out of the community their genetic defective albino offspring, to live away from the normal black skin-pigmented population.” The white tribe moved north to escape the hot sun. That area is now known as Europe, home of the white tribes.
So that is who George Zimmerman is, one of them. And after thousands of years, the hate, envy, alienation, anxiety, etc., is the reason, says Welsing, that most white people hate black people and other people of color, as well. I surmise that Zimmerman was going to shoot someone black or near-black sooner or later. It was just a matter of time.
If it can be proved that he hung out with cops, rest assured that Zimmerman knew the ins and outs of how to do a clean shoot that will go down as “justifiable homicide.” Young, slim Trayvon, 11 years bulky George’s junior, was like a deer out in the open. There was no escape from the hunter. Trayvon was dead from the moment George Zimmerman decided to pursue him, just like white cops try to provoke blacks so they can get a shoot or a merciless beatdown.
None of them believe “Thou shall not kill” because black males are the deer and they are the hunters. Bang! You’re dead.
