alcalloway.jpgYoung Trayvon Martin was profiled, hunted and slain, for being black and wearing a hoodie in the rain. If you’re black and hoping for justice in that case, then you want to see George Zimmerman, Trayvon’s white killer, serving big time in prison.

But you’re scared. Not only do you doubt whether justice will prevail, you really don’t believe in the American system of justice because the victims of its historical injustice tend to be “just us.” Few black American males reach their 35th birthday without having been stopped and questioned or otherwise mistreated by some kind of law-enforcement officers.

Remember, too, 9-year-old Sherdavia Jenkins, gunned down while playing in front of her home in Miami by a wild shooter chasing another man. All involved were black. Curiously, most black shootings are of black people. And, yes, some military-style automatic rifles have found their way into black communities across America.

So-called mainstream media outlets refuse to do a compilation piece on white police shootings of blacks, including shootings of black policemen. I’m sure reporters have asked the question why no black officers ever shoot white officers? Whatever the answers, they never see the light of day. In fact, when have you heard of a black police officer shooting anybody white? Rarely, if ever, right?

So what is the apparent “legal” killing of black people by law enforcement officers really all about and why are black political, religious and community leaders effete about the issue? If you are black and don’t believe there are factions within law enforcement that are anti-black, and if you are white and don’t see it, then you are deaf, dumb and blind.

Law  enforcement reflects the attitudes and beliefs held by the general American populace. White nationalist neoconservatives are all over the American law enforcement, prosecution and the judicial realm.

That is why so many blacks are incarcerated. Don’t call it “racism” because you will never be able to prove it. Why? Because there is only one race, the Human Race!

White nationalists know this. They love it when blacks and liberals call them “racists” because all they have to do is deny they are racists, then what? Trying to prove racism gets one into very cloudy, unscientific terrain. The reason is because so-called race is a made-up notion perpetrated by 18th- and 19th-century American and European scientists and medical doctors who promulgated white supremacy throughout the world.

While most black-on-black shootings are the result of drugs, chump-change money and women, there is rare instance of mass shootings of strangers. Not so with white folks as recent history unfortunately attests. But why do they have so many automatic handguns and rifles with extra-large bullet clips and hundreds of rounds of ammunition?

Irrespective of the spate of white-on-white shootings, we know what the guns are for! Segregation, discrimination, police brutality and white flight were all precursors to overwhelming anxiety due to white fear of black retribution. The human mind is not puzzled by the biblical aphorism that speaks to reaping what you sow.

Fear and space created white suburbs, gated communities and modern white rural small towns, and yet the blacks keep coming. Black sterilization programs, socially induced high infant mortality rates, incarceration, police killings, miseducation and mass poverty has not abated the surge.

Seemingly idyllic Newtown, Conn., with all of its guns and gun ranges, where citizens go to enjoy their Second Amendment right to bear arms and “target shoot” with automatic weapons at so-called “targets,” produced a young mass murderer of 20 little children and 6 adults in an elementary school.

The guns belonged to the shooter’s mother who took him to the gun range where he perfected how to kill people through “target” practice. But we know nothing about what kinds of so-called “targets” these nice middle class white people practice on how to kill? It’s interesting how reporters from everywhere have, apparently, collectively managed to ignore that salient detail.

But we blacks definitely know what the guns are really for.
