Helpful Tips for Businesses that would like to apply for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), if additional funds are approved.

• Don’t wait, apply now.

• Before you apply, prepare a simple document that clearly explains where the back-up information is that was used to determine your average monthly payroll amount.

• Have all your payroll tax documents available

• Have all your information and operating documents available

• If you don’t have any employees that make over $100,000, state that.

• Don’t attempt to use more than 12months to create your average

• Don’t include 1099s (unless you apply as a 1099 applicant)

• Don’t use utilities and rent to calculate your loan amount

If you have already applied, check with your bank to see if they have everything they need to submit your application to SBA, if additional funds are approved.
