Republican Ken Cuccinelli says he will make a major policy announcement at his 4 p.m. appearance before Wilder's class at Virginia Commonwealth University.

And then, Wilder says Democrat Terry McAuliffe will address his students starting at 5 p.m.

Courtship of Wilder, the nation's first elected African-American governor, has become a ritual in statewide elections. Wilder has yet to make an endorsement in this year's Virginia gubernatorial race.
