President Barack Obama gave a group of area boys a special treat when he made it a point to say hello to them while he visited Miami recently. The boys are members of the 5000 Role Models of Excellent mentoring program headed by Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, D-Fla
They were serving as ambassadors when Obama visited the Port of Miami, providing assistance to people and showing them where to go. The president recognized them from their signature Role Model ties and, as he passed through the crowd, stopped to greet them. More Role Models on page 4B.
