North Miami, FL –Take an inside look at the North Miami Police Department (NMPD) during the 16th Annual Family and Community Together (F.A.C.T) Festival, set for Saturday, March 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at North Miami’s MOCA Plaza, 770 N.E. 125th St.

Since 2003, NMPD has hosted the F.A.C.T. Festival as part of its on-going community policing initiative. The free event creates a forum for officers to engage with citizens, while also informing them of police services and resources.

This year’s festival will offer residents police station tours and a closer look at NMPD’s Special Operations vehicles, such as helicopters, boats and patrol cars. The event also will feature SWAT and firefighter demonstrations, plus information about local social services.

Miami Dolphins players will be on hand to meet and greet guests. A bounce house and face painting will be available for children. Participants can expect great food, music, family-friendly activities and giveaways. Giveaways include bicycles, laptops, BEATS headphones and tablets.

For more information call NMPD at 305-891-0294.
