MIAMI—Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Business presents the Small Business Education Program/Grow Miami Initiative, which will offer free workshops to small and moderate-sized businesses at the Homestead Campus on March 30.

The Small Business Education Program has been offering seminars, workshops, coaching and business-2-business expos for several years. Hundreds of local small business owners and entrepreneurs have benefited from the program. Its goal has been to provide small business owners with increased knowledge about managing their business, with an emphasis on growth and expansion, job creation, and revenue growth.

The first workshop was held on March 23 and focused on business planning with facilitator Andrew Yap. On March 30, organizations that assist small business owners in preparing for and acquiring capital will be available for questions and consultations.

The Small Business Education Program/Grow Miami Initiative is presented by MDC’s School of Business and sponsored by Citi Foundation.
