FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – ArtServe presents the much-anticipated holiday return of “unWRAPPED: A Curated Collection of Art + Gifts,” from Wednesday, December 7 through Friday, January 6, 2017.

The annual all-member showcase features a variety of styles, media and artistic techniques including wearable art, paintings, sculpture, textile, photography and more.

“We are answering the holiday gift-giving question of, ‘What do you give to the person who has everything?” said President and CEO of ArtServe Jaye Abbate. “Our answer is ‘Something no one else will ever have – creative, unique and totally original pieces created by artists right here in our community. This is an affordable way to give a one-of-a- kind gift or bring art home or to the workplace.”

Admission to the gallery reception on Thursday, December 8 from 6 – 8 p.m. is free. Along with live entertainment and special holiday munchies, all items will be reduced 15 percent and a free ArtServe T-shirt will be given with every purchase over $50. Gift certificates and free gift wrapping are also available.

An Online People’s Choice Award will be presented at the reception, based on a popular vote that is taking place through December 8 at 10 a.m. All artwork in the gallery is available for purchase, although some may not be on display in the exhibit. During December, the Goldstein Schechter Koch CPAS & Wealth Advisors Gallery will feature the work of a mixed media artist who is inspired by the traditions and stories of indigenous peoples. Gallery 133 will feature the abstract works of Chana Wiesenthal Elias. The opening reception discount does not apply to works in these galleries.
