WEST PALM BEACH — The Health Ministry of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, where the Rev. Dr. Gerald Kisner is pastor, is hosting a major Community Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, July 20, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the historic church, 801 Eighth St. in West Palm Beach. In addition to fun activities, snacks, refreshments and door prizes, will be educational materials, displays and an “Ask the Experts” booth.
Free immunizations will be provided for children from 2 months to 12th grade, sponsored by the Palm Beach County Department of Health and Palm Beach County Immunization Coalition.
(Parents should bring their children’s immunization records.)
Also featured will be free screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, hearing and vision, as well as demonstrations such as cooking with herbs.
Partners include the American Cancer Association, American Heart Association, Arthritis Foundation, West Palm Beach Fire Rescue, American Diabetes Association, Sickle Cell Foundation, American Red Cross, Northwest Community Consortium, Inc., and Molina Health Care.
