MIAMI GARDENS – The Universal Truth Center (UTC), located in Miami Gardens, will celebrate its pastor’s second anniversary on Sunday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. A native of Chicago, Rev. Charles M. Taylor was installed as UTC’s senior minister in 2016 following the 2013 death of UTC founder and senior minister, the late Rev. Dr. Mary Tumpkin. Taylor had been involved in the UTC ministry for 25 years prior to being selected as its senior minister.

Delivering the anniversary message will be Rev. Sherri James, senior minister of Understanding Principles for Better Living (UP Church). The California church was founded and led by the late actress and ordained minister, Della Reese Lett, who passed away on Nov. 19. James will also facilitate the ‘Prosperity is Your Birthright’ workshop at UTC on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 12:30 pm. James is expected to preach a sermon that aligns with UTC’s January theme: Limitless Living: Creating a Life You Truly Love Living.

UTC is a member church of the Universal Foundation for Better Living, Inc., an International New Thought Christian organization consisting of churches, study groups, satellite centers, and discussion groups dedicated to demonstrating the abundant life teachings of Jesus the Christ. A Biblebased New Thought Christian church, UTC follows the philosophy of Charles Fillmore, co-founder of the Unity School of Christianity, and offers the freedom and empowerment message of Jesus the Christ.

The church is located at 21310 NW 37th Ave. For more information, visit utruth.org or call 305-624-4991.
