BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) _ Indiana guard Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell has postponed his announcement on whether he’ll enter the NBA draft, citing the killing of a fellow Indiana University student.

The Herald-Times reports (http://bit.ly/1zZRaSK ) Ferrell’s family issued a statement Saturday morning offering “condolences and prayers” to the family of 22-year-old Hannah N. Wilson.

A coroner said Saturday that Wilson, whose body was found Friday in rural Brown County northeast of Bloomington, had been beaten to death.

A 49-year-old Bloomington man is being held on a preliminary murder charge in the IU senior’s death.

Ferrell had planned to announce Saturday night at an Indianapolis restaurant whether he will return to IU for his senior season or enter the NBA Draft.

The deadline to declare early entry to the 2015 NBA Draft is Sunday at 11:59 p.m.
