Orlando – ONYX Magazine has announced the 6th Annual Men of Honor Awards to celebrate outstanding achievement throughout Florida and beyond.

Scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Rosen Centre Hotel, at 9840 International Dr. in Orlando, the awards will pay tribute to and highlight men “making a diNerence in diverse professions and their communities.”

The event and networking opportunity will be hosted by award-winning news and television personalities, and begin with a Kick-oN Reception at 5 p.m., followed by the Black-tie Dinner and Awards Ceremony at 6 p.m.

Organizers said the ONYX Foundation will present scholarships to eight deserving young men destined to attend college, obtain a trade certification or earn professional licensing, thanks to the donations of Orlando Health, The Jason Dion Giving Fund and JW Marriott.

Community leaders will be recognized for their notable achievements and applauded for their resiliency and service.
