Heads up, people, the 305 government has its own app.

Do you know of a sidewalk that needs fixing? A traffic sign that needs replacing? A pothole that needs filling? Miami-Dade County’s free 311Direct app for smartphones can help.

Now you can request services and report neighborhood problems or code violations directly to Miami-Dade County’s 311 Answer Center. Staff will receive the report and can begin to process the requested repair or improvement. 311Direct users can attach a photo of the problem, submit relevant details, and choose to either remain anonymous or provide contact information for follow-up.

“It’s important to reach people where they already get their information in order to introduce them to other resources that are available to them,” says Miami-Dade County Community Information and Outreach Director Henry Sorí.
