bill-winston_web.jpgTwo systems are presently functioning in the Earth: the system of Babylon and the system of the Kingdom of God.

Babylon represents a society trying to meet its needs without God. Too many people today are trying to solve problems with only the limited wisdom and intellect of natural man. The Babylonian system leads to all kinds of inadequate solutions and it is running out of answers.

When Jesus came to Earth, He introduced and established a new and superior government — of the Kingdom of God.  It is governed by higher principles and laws and operates under “the Blessing.”   Jesus even told people in Matthew 6:33 NKJ to “… seek first the Kingdom of God… and all these things will be added unto you.”

In the book of Genesis, when Joseph was in Egypt, he was promoted from prison to prime minister, second in command to Pharaoh. Joseph had an anointing to save the world from destruction. He gave the king an economic strategy for abundance throughout seven years of famine.  All of the smartness of Egypt was not enough to deliver the nation from the famine.
What Egypt needed was “the Blessing.”  And we still need it today.

I call the Church (the Body of Christ) today the “modern-day Esther.”  Why?  Like Esther, “we are come into the kingdom for such a time as this.”  This is the finest hour for the Church.  We are the problem-solvers for this end-time generation and “the Blessing” on our lives provides answers to every impossible situation.

God wants to manifest your “Son-ship” — and to provide a platform of sufficient credibility that those around you will desire to know your God. As “sons of God,” we are to function in the Blessing of God to make every community, city and nation that is now desolate like the Garden of Eden (Ezekiel 36:35).

Here’s some background on “the Blessing.” According to Genesis 12:1-3,  Message Translation, God told Abraham,   “… Leave your country, your family, and your father’s home for a land that I will show you.  I’ll make you a great nation and bless you.  I’ll make you famous; you’ll be a blessing.  I’ll bless those who bless you; those who curse you I’ll curse.  All the families of the Earth will be blessed through you.”

Where God sent Abraham didn’t naturally look like an ideal place to live, let alone like the Garden of Eden.  Why?  Because it had to be done by faith.

God “blessed Abraham” with what I call the “Eden Blessing,” because it was the same power God used to create the Earth and the same power that was initially given to Adam to continue the work of creation. “… God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth ….” (Genesis 1:28).

Here God was not simply communicating with Adam and Eve. He was transferring power… just as Isaac spoke the blessing over his son Jacob and from that day forward Jacob was capable of operating far beyond the ability of natural man (Genesis 27:27-29).

The word “replenish” means to recover former fullness, to stock with abundance.  It also means to perpetually renew and resupply.
This Blessing was powerful enough to restore or to renew anything, any place, on the Earth.

Faith is the way you activate the Blessing. You have to believe in the Blessing the same way you have to believe God’s Word concerning healing or salvation, if you are to see the results.

When we moved our ministry to Forest Park, Ill., we purchased a shopping mall that the two previous owners could not make successful. However, we came with the Blessing.

Today, the mall is thriving and has provided more than 400 local jobs and significant tax revenue to the local municipality — all because of the Blessing.

As a Believer, this Blessing is on your life.  The Blessing is your heritage. Adam lost it but Jesus came and paid the price to get it back for you and me.

I declare that from this moment you shall walk in the Blessing of Abraham from now through the rest of your days.  You shall be blessed in the city and blessed in the field, and all the nations shall call you blessed.
