Fashion week will be Nov. 7-10, at the Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay, 1633 North Bay Shore Dr., Miami. LS 1426 Inc. is a modeling and designers consulting company, which focuses on high fashion and couture training. The company also promotes healthy self-esteem and a realistic lifestyle.

Some of the designers who will reveal their 2014 Spring and Summer collections are:  Bramer Leon Couture, Sarahi by Suzette Kelly, Michael Emmanuel Couture, Pheline by Ava Jones, Angel Myers, Edward Dillard, Beach Bling by Alton King, Jay Jay Designs by Jay Jay Cornwall, Brick Malone Designs and Debonaire by Oremeyi Kareem.

“The focus of this event is to provide a platform for emerging designers who may not be able to afford to show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week,” Scott said.

1426 Fashion Week will kick off with a meet and greet, called Jeans and Pearls on Nov. 7, at 6 p.m.  An Empowerment Brunch will take place Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. followed by the Model Image and Designer seminars.

This year’s host will be Nikki Mims Patterson, a retired plus-size model who is now a fashion blogger for Southern Hollywood Productions, LLC out of Atlanta, Georgia.

The main event will take place on Nov. 10, where the premier designers will reveal their new lines and set trends for the upcoming fashion season.

Part of the event’s proceeds will go to Girl Power and Continues Love. The event will be preceded by the red carpet arrival of VIP guests. Ticket prices range from $25-55. To purchase tickets, visit http://1426fashionweek-miami-eac2.eventbrite.com
