MIAMI — Bank of America is hosting a free homeowner assistance event in Miami, Thursday, April 12 through Saturday, April 14 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Dr. The company estimates that nearly 20,000 customers within 125 miles of Miami may benefit from the workshops and services being provided.
Customers who are currently struggling with their mortgage will be able to sit face-to-face with a Bank of America specialist and discuss their current situation and any loan assistance options available to them such as loan modifications or other alternatives to foreclosure.
They can also meet with local nonprofits onsite, as well as housing counselors who can help with financial counseling, budgeting, etc.
Customers will review their file and status with a Bank of America specialist, the documents they brought, verify their income and residency and determine which options may be available for them Bank of America customers can register to participate by going online to bankofamerica.com/homeownerevent or by calling toll-free, 1-855-201-7426. Appointments are available from 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. daily.
