A “Gospel Explosion” will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at the Universal Truth Center for Better Living, 21310 NW 37th Ave., Miami Gardens.

Performers will include Ike and Val Woods; Jon Saxx of Jon Saxx and Endless Possibilities; Monte’ Benjamin, a gospel comic; the choirs of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church and Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, and UTC’s youth and mass choirs.


The event is free and open to the public but a love offering will be accepted.

The concert will open UTC’s seven-week Adventure In Faith empowerment series with the message that “we can be intentional about making decisions that affect our lives and become overcomers rather than victims,” according to a church announcement.

Weekly activities are scheduled for individuals and families to uplift, inspire and expand potential in various areas of life.

The theme is “It’s My Move.”
