A judge on Thursday ordered 17-year-old Nick Macchione and 19-year-old Seth McCarty to spend at least 50 hours each cleaning the Spring Hill Cemetery in Brooksville.

The two were charged after the June theft with disturbing a grave and removing the remains.

As part of a deal, the two will avoid prison time. Adjudication was withheld for McCarty, and Macchione pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of misdemeanor criminal mischief. They'll pay $500 total in restitution.

They will also have to post information online that the historic African-American cemetery is private and that no one should trespass there.
