football_game_web.jpgORLANDO, Fla. (AP) _ Andrew Buie rushed for 242 yards and four touchdowns as Jacksonville Trinity Christian defeated Delray Beach American Heritage 27-10 in the Class 1A championship game Friday at the Citrus Bowl.

 

Buie, a senior, scored on runs of 2, 20, 54 and 13 yards. All told, he carried the football 31 times.

In the win, the Conquerors (12-2) attempted only one pass. All 322 of their yards came on the ground.

The championship is Jacksonville Trinity Christian's third; it also won titles in 2002 and '03.

Buie finished the season with 1,782 yards and 26 rushing touchdowns.

For American Heritage (10-4), running back Greg Bryant rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown, a 2-yarder in the third quarter that made it 13-10.
