The Historic Ali Cultural Arts in Pompano Beach is celebrating the island nation’s cultural influences with a free event, “Haiti: The Strength of a Nation A Reminder of its Contributions to the World.” The afternoon will feature performances by Sassy Singz, We Dem Zoes, Self_Made, dancer Claudel Theagene with The Roots, along with other surprises. The event will be hosted by Regine Bell, Mrs. Little Haiti Plus America 2018, Queen.

“We are thrilled to be celebrating Haitian Heritage Month with a dazzling display of music, poetry, dance, art, fashion and food,” said Cherolyn Davis, director of programming and facilities. “This event will be an inspiring celebration of all of the dynamic and eclectic contributions of Haitian culture on the global community.”
